The International Baccalaureate program has a complete set of objectives for an IB Biology class at the core level and the additional higher level (AHL). As outlined in the Biology syllabus in the IB Diploma Programme guide, published for the first test in 2003, these objectives are arranged according to series of topics, each with a number of subtopics.

In the table below, we have correlated the topics and subtopics with the experiments that are contained in this book,Biology with Vernier. In addition, we have listed the various Vernier experiments that correlate with options A−G in the IB guide for Biology.

Click on any Vernier experiment name to download a free student version of the lab for your evaluation.
